God has been pouring out His Spirit on the church lately.  Okay i know its freaky but its really unexplainable.  Let me give you some really really cool examples of how God has been pouring out His Spirit,

Poppy ( real name Ernest Veal )is a Marine who has served in the military.  He is a rough tough marine.  The few the proud the marine..you know what i am talking about.  Poppy has an x-ray that reveals he has a huge grapefruit size tumor on his bladder.  The doctors tell poppy that he has to have surgery to remove the tumor and probably his bladder as well.  Oh my gosh what an opportunity for God to work his miracle healing power.  Poppy didn’t want to bother me on Sunday so he asked me to keep him in my prayers, in the parking lot in his car,  he was going to have a tumor removed off his bladder and might have to have his bladder removed as well.  Oh man I said sure and started to walk away when i thought i heard the voice of the Lord say no go back and pray for Poppy..so i motioned for pappy to roll the window down and i reach in through the window and put my hand about where the bladder might be on his stomach and asked God to heal the tumor and bladder condition.  I felt it was an afflicting spirit sent by the enemy. So i rebuked that spirit in the Name if Jesus.  We prayed I could tell Poppy was shaken and teared up.  I little tear in a marine’s eye is a like a flood in the rest of our eyes. I could see a sense of relief.   He was going to the doctors and would call me the results.  Tuesday came around I get this call from Pappy…Pastor Doug guess what I went in for the surgery they did another x-ray and the tumor is gone.  I fell out and cried.  Wow Amazing he got up and testified to the whole church about the miracle that just happened.

Another lady Chasity asked us to pray as a church for tumors in her left breast.  There were many tumors that she could feel with her hand.  I brought Chasity upto the front of the church and asked the whole church to pray for her tumors to be gone. Chasity said she could feel like a burning feeling and the Spirit of God resting on her. She was scheduled to go to the doctors for removal of the tumors the next day and possible removal of her left breast.  The next night,  Monday night there was some dance folks at the church Chasity was there.  I asked Chasity what did the doctors find out?  She said the tumors were gone in her left breast.  Oh my gosh what a blessings again.  At this point i am high in Jesus.  High as a kite.  God can do anything. 

Kaddie came to Crossway through the dance ministry of Janis Leffler who runs Intercession a cool, way cool, neato dance troup.  Kaddie came to a Sunday morning service with the intercession team.  She had a pain in her right foot.  God had someone pray for her and she got her foot healed.  Then she started freaking out and gave her life to Jesus on the spot.  Later that night she came to the youth service a way out jamming time that is so amazing its not even imagineable,  God gave one of the youth a word about someone who been having trouble with pain in the right arm.  God healed that also no pain in either her foot, her arm or her heart.  Wow aint it amazing she came to dance cause she enjoyed dancing.  Then she ended up Dancing with the King of Kings and gave her life to Him. 

Taylor was an atheist.  She was also a dancer who dances with intercession.  Taylor would come but not really be apart of anything we did as a church.  However the Spirit of God wanted Taylor.  We prayed fervently for Taylor.  Janis would regulary ask me to pray for Taylor.  This Sunday 7-13-08 Taylor gave her life to Jesus.  Oh my gosh after a sermon on Predjudice.  When i saw her come up to me she told me she prayed that prayer to receive Jesus this morning.  I started crying and brought her up to the front and introduced  Taylor to the whole church.  The church erupted with cheers and the entire dance team rushed the staged to hug her and share in the joy of her salvation.  Wow Wow Wow..God is moving
