I so agree i think the real joy starts when we die to ourselves and live for Him. Now that's joy my brother. When we can serve and wait for God. Lay our lives down for each other so many times we wait then we demand our own way and become bitter because we do not get it...Our right to be loved is that God loves us regardless. Thanks so much for the comment

Beautiful. Happy Valentines. Hoping and praying that you get new cars and things replaced.

What's the difference between love and lub?

Lub is something that you can only get from members of Crossway. And it's special.

Bob: I'm praying for rain to fall mainly in Spain.

Jim: Why?

Bob: I don't know. Isn't it wonderful?

Ruth, I KNOW that God heals, and He has healed many at Crossway. Keep coming and believing in Him -- He is definitely in our midst every time the door opens, but most
powerfully on Sundays.

God Bless Doug and Paul for being who they are, wonderful conduits to the Holy Spirit.

I was raised an Episcopalian and come from a wonderful Christian family. I thank God for that! When my children were small I always got up and took them to church (even though my husband being an alcoholic never went with us) As a lot of us do, soon I got out of going to church. My husband and I divorced. About a year ago my boyfriend brought me to Crossway because he knew I'd love it cause I've always loved contemporary Christian music and always in my heart still a Christian. I can't explain what I felt that first Sunday. It brought tears to my eyes and still does every time I come! The sermons of Pastor Doug and Pastor Paul are ALWAYS so powerful and for some reason seem to be talking to me exactly what I need to hear that week!! The spirit of Jesus is SO ALIVE in this church and I thank God he brought me to Crossway! I now look forward as never before to Sundays because if I miss, my whole week falls apart! What I want to say is THANK YOU Pastors Doug and Paul for being such wonderful deliverers of God's word!! I haven't joined the church yet but am planning to soon! Yes I have problems, financial worries and now some health issues but I know all the prayers and love from this church will sustain me! I know as my favorite Bible verse says: Phil 4:13-I can do ALL things thru Christ who strengthens me! Thank you for being there for all the people who enter your doors and thank you for bringing Jesus out in me again!!

You know there are so many churches that preach that they accept everyone no matter how they dress, look, smell, or what their bad habbits are. I have founbd that in so many cases, they really do not. At Cross-Way, I see this is really true. Because of this reason, I can tell you that I used to be addicted to cocaine. It almost caused me to loose my family. By the grace of God, I am no longer using and have not for over 15 years. Thank you Pastor Doug and the congregation for making me and my family feel so welcome in this church!

Very passionate. I think we have a lot to learn about service. I do, however, believe that focusing on an abstract reward in heaven detaches us from the love that God wants us to experience. I think the reward is the love that each and every person desires to have, but cannot obtain except by following Jesus. I think that there is duty, and then there is love. A Jesus follower needs both. We do have a right to be loved, and that's what Jesus offers us if we serve Him. "Greater love has no man than this, that he lay down his life for a friend." John 15:13

Not only does God know you He loves you and has already begun your healing, "confess your sins to one another so that you might be healed." The opposite of insanity is a sound mind, if you ask God will give you a sound mind that will no longer be tossed to and fro by every wind and doctrine. He will fill the hole in your heart and soul that you try to fill with addiction. Ask and you will receive, speak to the mountain of pain and confusion in your life and it shall be cast into the midst of the sea as far as the east is from the west. May the shalom (peace) of God be with you.
